The Last Mile

Feature Film Cinematography & Camera Production

Victor’s role: Director of Photography

Project Description

Project

The Last Mile was a narrative feature film requiring a consistent cinematic look across multiple scenes and production environments. As Director of Photography and camera operator, the focus was on translating the director’s vision into the visual language of the film while maintaining continuity, mood, and technical consistency throughout production.

Audience

Narrative film audiences, independent cinema viewers, and festival or distribution audiences.

Production Story

As Director of Photography, I was responsible for the camera department and visual execution on set. That included selecting and setting up camera configurations, operating the camera, planning coverage, and working closely with the lighting team to shape each scene.

Lighting direction was built around the tone and emotion of the story, with each setup designed to support the performances while maintaining a cohesive cinematic style across the film.
